Youth members of 4-H clubs in Androscoggin, Sagadahoc and Cumberland counties raised more than $250 to benefit American Red Cross work in Haiti with their Hockey For Haiti event at the Lewiston MAINEiacs home game on Feb. 10. Several local businesses donated items to a raffle the 4-Hers ran during the game. The youth also managed the Chuck-A-Puck competition and sold discounted tickets in advance of the game to raise money. Eric Lynes, left, emergency services director for the United Valley Chapter of American Red Cross and Matthew Fornoff, AmeriCorps VISTA with UMaine Extension, organized the Hockey for Haiti program.
