Between 6 p.m. March 7 and 6 p.m. March 14, patrol officers responded to 92 complaints.

Charges:

On March 7 — 8:32 p.m., Joseph Downs, 31, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with domestic violence assault and refusal to submit to arrest on Rumford Avenue. Downs was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 4.

On March 8 — 8:50 a.m., Casey Flagg, 31, of Carthage was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on a warrant for failure to appear — theft and failure to pay fines — disorderly conduct on River Street Flagg turned himself in after seeing his name in the newspaper. He was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

Criminal Mischief:

On March 9 — 2:29 p.m., Mexico resident reporting criminal mischief to her vehicle while parked at the River Valley Crossing. Estimated damage $400.

On March 11 — 1:49 p.m., Waldo Street resident reporting criminal mischief to her vehicle while parked on Waldo Street. No Estimated damage listed.

Theft:

On March 8 — 3:19 p.m., Mexico resident reporting theft of medication.

On March 8 — 4:31 p.m., Maine Avenue resident reporting a possible identity theft.

On March 12 — 2:49 p.m., Tasker Avenue resident reporting theft of a $225 iPod from Mountain Valley High School.

Wanted

Daniel Johnson, 42, formerly of Rumford, is wanted on multiple warrants for unpaid fines, operating after suspension, unlawful use of license and theft.
