Marguerite ‘Maina’ Julian
1922 – 2010
METHUEN, Mass. — Marguerite Philomena “Maina” Julian, 88, a longtime resident of Salem, N.H., and formerly of Boston, entered into her eternal rest on Wednesday, March 10, at Holy Family Hospital.
She was born Feb. 22, 1922, in Bangor, the daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Keefe) Julian. “Maina” retired from Massachusetts General Hospital after many years of employment as a registered nurse.
She was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Senior Center in Salem, N.H. She enjoyed traveling and politics. In her leisure time, she followed the stock market and was an avid day trader.
She is survived by her siblings, Anne Julian of Farmington, Conn., Theresa Deveau of Enfield, Conn., and Frank Julian of Lewiston; many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine companion, Muffin.
She was predeceased by her two brothers, James and Joseph Julian; and her sister, Mary Hersey.
