Blood drive

WILTON — A community blood drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, on the Red Cross bus at the Western Maine Expo, formerly Nichols Expo Center, Weld Road, Route 156. The drive is sponsored by the Farmington Emblem Club 460.

Prekindergarten

FAYETTE — Fayette Central School will hold prekindergarten screening on Friday, April 9, for Fayette and Wayne residents whose children will be 4-years-old on or before Oct. 15. Call Teresa Harrington at 685-4770 to make an appointment. Screenings will be done by appointment only.

Kindergarten

FAYETTE — Fayette residents with a child that will be 5-years-old by Oct. 15 may call Teresa Harrington at Fayette Central School, 685-4770, to make an appointment for registration and screening.

Benefit dinner

FARMINGTON — A benefit dinner will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 26, at the Farmington Falls Fire Station, for the Burchard Cook Family. The dinner will feature baked beans, chop suey, rolls, casseroles, desserts, milk, coffee and juice. Donations are welcome.

Nomination papers

FAYETTE — Nomination papers are available and are due back by 4:30 p.m. Monday, April 26. The open positions include two three-year terms for Selectmen, Assessor Overseer of Poor and two three-year terms for the Fayette School Board.

Jay prekindergarten

JAY — Registrations for prekindergarten will be taken between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 1 and 2. Children must be 4 years of age on or before Oct. 15 for prekindergarten registration.

It is necessary to have the child’s original birth certificate and current immunization record at the time of registration.
