The Daughters of Isabella Circle 677 of St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay held their annual baked bean supper on March 13 at the Parish Hall. The event began at 4:30 p.m. when people started arriving for the meal. Everyone enjoyed a meal of homemade baked beans, johnny cake, pickled beets, cole slaw, rolls, brown bread, hot dogs and for dessert, homemade pies. After supper, attendees bought raffle tickets for one of the many prizes at the raffle table, including homemade fudge, breads, pies and a gift certificate. The evening ended at 6:30. Conrad and Pauline Breton are pictured at the supper.
