RUMFORD — Members of the Stephens High School Class of 1949 will meet for a luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Brian’s Bistro.

Crafters wanted

RUMFORD — Crafters are wanted for the Spring Fair, to be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, at Hope Association (the old Armory), 85 Lincoln Ave. Spaces and tables are limited. Cost is $10 each space. The deadline to register is April 30.

Call Debbie Averill at 364-8353 and leave a name and number. Proceeds from space rentals will benefit Hope Association.

State House trip

AUGUSTA — The Oxford County Democrats will sponsor a field trip to the State House on Tuesday, March 30. The day will feature a tour of the legislature, starting with coffee in the Visitors Center area at 8:30 a.m., visiting the House and Senate sessions, special meetings and issue briefings with state leaders and lunch in the cafeteria with Oxford County legislators.

After lunch, trip participants can continue with legislative activities or visit the Maine State Museum or other Augusta attractions. To attend, contact Oxford County Democratic Chairwoman Cathy Newell at 875-2116 by Sunday, March 28.
