AUBURN – Shooters was extended to a deciding game in the Auburn Rec men’s slowdown basketball playoffs before denying Lewiston Pawn Shop’s bid for a third straight championship, 70-59, in the final.

Pawn picked up a 67-53 victory to hand Shooters its first loss of the double-elimination tournament and earn a rematch. Chris Williamson scored 22 points and Jean Avebe added 19 to spark the Shooters in the title tilt. Justin Underwood led all scorers with 25 points for Pawn.
