DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for people who are willing to display their military vehicles at the Western Maine Veterans Home in South Paris. The Advisory Committee raises funds for residents’ activities and is holding the event on Saturday, July 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: There is a great way to keep in shape and have a good time, too. Every Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m., we get together at Temple Shalom on Bradman Street in Auburn to line dance with our teacher, Marjorie Perkins. It only costs $4 each time, and you don’t pay if you don’t go!

We’d love to some new people join us. Marg goes over the steps before each dance — it’s easy, and practice makes perfect. If you have a few hours on a Tuesday morning, there is no better way to start the day. Call the temple at 786-4201, and come dance with us. No one is too young or too old to dance. come have fun! We’d like to get to know you.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Lithuanian Heritage Club of Rumford and Mexico will be having a potluck supper for members and guests on April 9 at 5 p.m. at the Calvin Lyons Room in the Mexico Town Office on Main Street. There will be a variety of Lithuanian dishes to enjoy and a good time to visit with our friends and neighbors of Lithuanian descent, as well as an equally good time to meet prospective members of this newly organized group.
