JAY — The Comprehensive Planning Committee plans to review the physical inventory of the town and do an analysis to help project where residents would like to see the town in 10 years.
Justin Merrill is the chairman of the committee and Barbara Cook is the vice chairman and secretary, Town Manager Ruth Cushman said.
“We’re going to have a nice cohesive group,“ she said.
The committee will try to develop a vision for the next 10 years, Merrill said.
“Hopefully we’ll get some of our ideas enacted and better the place we live,” he said.
The committee would like to have the public involved as much as possible, Cushman said.
It will meet with Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments planner John Maloney at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, at the town office.
