DIXFIELD — Neighborly Senior Citizens met at the Dixfield Legion on March 17 with 54 present. The meeting was called to order by President Connie Tutlis, who gave several readings followed by flag salute and singing of “God Bless America.”

Observing March anniversaries were Lester and Phyllis Prue, 58 years; Harry and Rose Richard, 47 years; Marcel and Nila Martineau, 40 years. Observing March birthdays were Marcel Martineau, Anna Roy and Ethelyn Rackliff. Door prize winners were Jean Nasatowscy and Beverly Child.

A get-well card was signed for Freda Arsenault. Nickel beano was played following the meeting.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 21, with a roast pork dinner served free to all who have paid 2010 dues. Entertainment will be by the Crosbys. Members are asked to bring items for a food sale.

Next nickel beano will be held on Wednesday, April 7, with doors opening at noon.

Neighborly Senior membership is open to all age 50 and over. Dues are $10 a year and new members are welcome. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189 or Carol at 364-4798.

There are still a few seats available for the Bill Gaither Homecoming Tour to be held at the Cumberland County Civic Center Friday, April 23. People do not have to be a member to go.
