WEST PARIS — Marilyn L. Green, 80, of Otisfield, died Tuesday, April 6, at Ledgeview Living Center.

She was born in South Paris, Aug. 15, 1929, the daughter of Millard and Ina Chapman Cummings. She attended South Paris schools and had been employed at Etonic in Auburn.

She enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and sewing. She made quilts to raffle off for charity. She was a lifelong member of the Rock O Dundee Riders Snowmobile Club and loved spending time at their camp on Aziscohos Lake. At 76, she was cooking meals at the legion hall for the senior citizens. She was a wonderful grandmother, she played an important role in their lives. She married Frank Green on Aug. 15, 1947.

She is survived by her husband of Otisfield; daughters, Elaine Gammon of South Paris and her friend, David Starbird, Carolyn LeBlond and her husband, David, of Otisfield and Maxine Perkins and her husband, James, of Oxford; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dale Cummings of Oxford (Welchville) and Millard “Buddy” Cummings Jr. of Sebastian, Fla.; and five special nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Rita Brooks; and a son-in-law, Bobby Gammon.
