Carolyn Balsam of Industry was recently honored by the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for her more than 30 years of volunteer service. Most of this was spent with Literacy Volunteers of Franklin and Somerset Counties where she is a board member, having served as president and secretary. She is also a member of the Farmington Area Ecumenical Ministry and works at hospice. She was presented with a blanket for her years of service.
