HEALDSBURG, Calif. — Bernard Record, 90, of Healdsburg, Calif., died peacefully April 10, at home.

He was born July 16, 1919, in Hebron, son of Harry and Elsie Faunce Record. He was a member of the Mechanic Falls Tryone Lodge for more than 59 years. He was a master craftsman honing his skills building violins and other homemade wooden crafts. After more than 20 years as an auto technician at Silveira Buick GMC in Healdsburg, he retired in 1982.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Muriel Record; three children, Jim Record and his wife, Jody, of Truckee, Calif., Linda Nichols of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Janice Record of Santa Rosa, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Doris Higgins of West Minot; a brother, Glendon Record of West Minot; a sister-in-law, Olive Record of West Minot; a daughter-in-law, Christina Record of Reno; and a great-granddaughter, Kimberly Jones of Healdsburg, Calif.
