DEAR SUN SPOTS: Please provide me an address for Ellen DeGeneres at which she would most likely read a letter herself.

Also are there any more Jesse Stone movies in production? These are the movies starring Tom Selleck.

I also would like information on the movie “Crazy Heart,” as to when it will be released on DVD? Thank you for all your knowledge. — No Name via e-mail

ANSWER: You can write to Ellen at the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Attn: Fan Mail, P.O. Box 7788, Burbank, CA 91523. Sun Spots suggests you not hold out too much hope of Ellen herself reading your letter. Many celebrities receive thousands of letters each year and simply don’t have time to read them all.

As for Jesse Stone, the next movie, “No Remorse,” is due for release May 9, according to IMDB.com. Also, according to Wikipedia.com, novelist Robert B. Parker, who created the Jesse Stone character (as well as “Spenser”), said before he died recently that the Jesse Stone movies were the most accurate portrayal of any of his books.

“Crazy Heart” is due to be released on April 20, but if you are waiting to see it on Netflix, you will have to wait until May. Netflix has made a deal with some movie studios to hold their movies for 28 days.  In return, depending on the studio, Netflix gets financial incentives, and in the case of Fox, earlier streaming dates for some hot TV shows.

ANSWER: There are several Web sites where your son can read about Travis, including www.travispastrana.com, www.nitrocircus.com, http://travispastrana.net or on facebook. nitrocircus.com has a contact form where he can e-mail Travis, but as usual Sun Spots could not find a mailing address. The young, hip stars of today tend to do everything online.
