PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — Students at Portland Arts and Technology High School are mixing instruction and the television series “Ghost Hunters.”

Students in the new media program plan to use high-tech equipment for ghost-hunting at Portland High School, which school officials say is the nation’s second-oldest continuously operating public high school. School officials say there long have been rumors of paranormal activity.

Students will use voice recorders, low-light cameras, laser temperature gauges and electromagnetic frequency readers. The Portland Press Herald says the action begins at 11 p.m. Wednesday.
