RUMFORD — Rumford Community Home announces that registered nurse Lisa Jamison has been chosen as its director of nursing services. Jamison was the assistant director of nurses/MDS coordinator at RCH prior to accepting the position.

She has been providing nursing care services since 1995 when she started as a certified nurse’s aide at Rumford Community Home. She continued as a nurse’s aid while raising her two children. When her children were in high school, she was encouraged to go back to school to get her nursing degree. In 2005, Jamison graduated from Central Maine Medical Center’s School of Nursing and returned to RCH as a charge nurse.

During the past five years, Jamison has moved up the management ladder to this leadership role.

Jamison is a River Valley native who graduated from Mexico High School and raised her family in nearby Roxbury. She resides in Roxbury with her husband and spends much of her free time with her adult children and four grandchildren.
