Peru resident Jim Bigos stood at the intersection of Dickvale Road and Route 108 in Peru on Saturday, protesting what he called mismanagement by town officials, resulting in ever-increasing taxes. “Something’s just got to be done,” Bigos said. “You just can’t spend, spend, spend. In the six years I’ve lived at Worthley Pond, my taxes have gone up over $200 a year.”
