Mexico police Officer Michael Grenier walks a handcuffed 17-year-old Rumford youth along Route 2 in Rumford on Wednesday afternoon to his cruiser parked on Maine Avenue. Sgt. Roy Hodsdon arrested the former Lewiston resident on charges of felony burglary and theft. The teen was later released to a guardian, and will be arraigned Oct. 5 in juvenile court at Rumford District Court. Hodsdon said the teen was the last of four boys to be arrested on charges of stealing two bicycles and a full-sized battery-operated motorcycle, called a “pocket rocket,” last Saturday from two Mexico garages. Others were Derek Harnden, 19, a 14-year-old and another 17-year-old, all from Rumford.
