Dolores P. Asselin
1935 – 2010
LEWISTON — Dolores P. Asselin, 74, of 212 Third St., Auburn, passed away at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, April 28, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Minot on Sept. 15, 1935, to Armand and Emelina LaFlamme. On July 8, 1953, she was married to Normand R. Asselin and they shared 57 wonderful years together. She worked for Bates Mill for 40 years, retiring in 1993. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She shared a special bond with her great-grandson, Riley, who will miss his memere very much.
She is survived by her husband, Normand R. Asselin; her children Connie Maheux of Lewiston, Richard Asselin and his wife, Muriel, of Florida, and Donna Stillson and her husband, Andy, of Auburn; a sister, Armande Corcoran of Poland; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents; a daughter, Susan Wing; and three brothers; and six sisters.
