SABATTUS — Irving L. Martin Sr., 50, of Sabattus died Saturday, May 1, at his residence after a sudden illness.
He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 28, 1959, the son of the late Walter and Gertrude (Alexander) Martin. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling and spending time with his family. He had been a laborer at several area businesses.
He is survived by his companion of 13 years, Evelyn Toothaker, with whom he made is home; sons, Eric, Irving Jr. and Paul Lauze; two daughters, Sarah and Tamara; one brother, Walter; three sisters, Charlotte, Margaret and Isabell; and three grandsons.
He was predeceased by three sisters, including his twin sister, Irene, Josephine and Nancy.
