POLAND SPRING — The Poland Spring Resort announces the addition of PGA golf professional Allan Menne to the Poland Spring family. Menne is the first professional at the facility in many years.
Henne was most recently with the Hyannis Golf Club on Cape Cod. Previously, he was head golf professional at Mink Meadows Golf Club on Martha’s Vineyard, and Wampanoag Country Club in Connecticut for nine and eight years, respectively. He has an excellent reputation as a teacher and player, and is a past champion of the Connecticut Section PGA. He has also competed in eight PGA Tour events.
Allan’s wife and son will be joining him after the school year. His older son currently lives and works on Martha’s Vineyard.
