Rosa Scarcelli, a Democratic gubernatorial candidate, has posted a video on YouTube of a local woman endorsing her campaign.
The video, which is about three-and-a-half minutes long, features Auburn-resident Andrea DeFilipp. Her daughter, Linda Sherwood, is a Scarcelli volunteer field organizer for Androscoggin County, according to a press release.
“We think (DeFilipp’s) heartfelt enthusiasm for Rosa will help convince others to get involved in Rosa’s campaign,” said Patsy Wiggins, Scarcelli’s campaign manager, in the release.
Scarcelli’s campaign reported having $28,000 cash on hand during the most recent filing, the lowest among Democratic candidates. She’s also the only Democrat to contribute her own money to the race, having loaned herself $10,000 on March 23.
The video was shot and produced by volunteers and staff, according to the release.
