LEWISTON — The SeniorsPlus Education Center, 8 Falcon Road, will offer the following classes:

Lyme Disease on the Rise: Learn How to Protect Yourself: Friday, June 4, from 10 to 11 a.m. Free. Lisa Bondeson, RN, from the Western Public Health District, will instruct.

Gentle Yoga: Fridays, June 4 to 25, from 3 to 4 p.m. Cost: $32 for the series or $10 drop in fee for each class. Paul Jones will instruct.

Family Caregiver Lunch and Learn Series: The series will provide family caregivers with resources, support, tips and skills related to caregiving for a loved one, friend or neighbor. Bring a lunch. Coffee, tea and water will be provided. The following workshops will meet from noon to 1 p.m. and are free.

Workshop I: “The Proactive Employed Caregiver; Tools for Balancing Your Two Occupations,” will be held Tuesday, June 1.

Workshop II: “The Healing Power of Journaling,” will meet Tuesday, June 8.

Workshop III: “Caregiving and Family Dynamics: When It Seems Like Family Members Are Not On Board,” will be held Tuesday, June 22.

Home Modifications for Disabilities: Monday, June 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. Tom Holz, OT, from Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice will instruct.

AARP Safe Driving Course: Thursday, June 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost: $14. The refresher driving safety course from AARP will qualify participants for an insurance discount. Tom Harvey will instruct.

Beadaful Creations: Friday, June 11, from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Cost: $10, includes all materials. Learn how to bead earrings and bracelets. Attendees will take home their creation. Sandi Godin will instruct.

Senior Resource Fair: Tuesday, June 15, from 9 a.m. to noon. Free. The fair will feature information on services available to older adults including housing, health care, public safety, emergency preparedness, brain health and transportation. Sponsored by the Androscoggin County Elder Abuse Task Force.

Introduction to Facebook: Monday, June 28, from 10 to 11 a.m. Free. An introduction to what it is, how to create a profile, e-mail friends and family and how to be safe when on line.
