The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP in South Paris gathered several boxes of useful and fun items to donate to the Senior Companion Program recently. Senior Companions used the items to put individualized May Bags together for each of their clients. Senior Companions spend 15 to 20 hours a week doing friendly visiting with homebound elderly clients. The program has been sponsored by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension for more than 30 years.
