Sarah L. Thomson of Portland, author of the children’s book “Pirates, Ho!” recently read her book at Norway Memorial Library and led children in a variety of pirate-themed activities, including a treasure hunt. Thomson is the author of more than 20 books for young readers. She visited the library as part of the Children’s Room’s 25th birthday celebration.
