Ski club meeting
FARMINGTON — The Farmington Ski Club will hold its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, June 7, at the Titcomb Mountain Lodge in West Farmington. All club members are invited to attend. The meeting agenda will include approval of the slate of new directors and of the budget for 2010-11 season.
Church fundraiser
CANTON — A bake sale, bottle drive and car wash will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at the Canton Fire Department, Route 108. Funds will go to the Youth Group of Victory Christian Church in Livermore, “The Refuge.” Anyone wishing to donate bottles or sponsor the youth, but cannot attend, may call Dana at 320-1285.
Lodge to meet
CANTON — Whitney Lodge 167 A.F. and A.M. will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 3. The meeting will be preceded by the annual steak feed supper at 6:30 p.m. All Master Masons are welcome. For more information, contact Warren Strout, master, at 320-0229.
Senior events
SALEM — Mt. Abram High School will host the Mt. Abram Staff Breakfast for Seniors at 7 a.m. Friday, June 4, in the cafeteria.
The Senior Recognition Night will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday June 10, in the cafeteria and gym. Awards will be presented and special recognitions will be made. Desserts will be served.
Seniors and their parents/guardians are invited to attend both events.
Annual meeting
WILTON — The Foothills Land Conservancy’s annual meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at the Wilton Academy Hill School cafeteria.
There will be a brief business meeting, including elections. The program will be a discussion of local invasive plant issues. The public is invited and refreshments will be served.
Foothills Land Conservancy is a nonprofit land trust that was established to promote the conservation of natural resources in the foothills region of Maine. The trust owns 238 acres of forest, farmland and wetlands at the head of Wilson Lake in Wilton.
