LEWISTON — Mike Ouellette, parts and service manager at Northeast Charter & Tour Co. Inc. in Lewiston, recently received the 2010 Polar Bear Award from Bowdoin College.

The Polar Bear Award is presented annually to an individual who provides outstanding support of Bowdoin College athletics and is an important part of the Bowdoin community.

Ouellette has worked in the charter and tour business his entire life. His father and grandfather were the founding members of The Maine Line/Brunswick Transportation company that provided charter bus transportation in Maine from 1952 until 1999.
