LEWISTON – Awards of achievement and service were presented by L-A SCORE at the chapter’s annual dinner on May 26.
Dinner guests included Maine SCORE District Director Neil Elder; Maine SBA Director Maurice Dube; Maine SBA Lender Specialist Helen Brimigion; Diane Jackson, regional representative for Maine U.S. Sen. Olympia Snowe; Carlene Tremblay, representative for Maine U.S. Sen. Susan Collins; and Andrea Quaid, representative for Maine U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud.
Recognized for five years of SCORE participation was Richard Moore. Past Treasurer Maurice Ouellette and Bethel Shields received a 15-year participation award. And past Chairman Robert Sawyer was recognized with a 20-year service award.
Distinguished Service Awards were presented to Robert Kennelly, Dana Pelletier, Peter Sassano, Bethel Shields and Jack Tetreault.
Robert Kennelly was elected chapter chairman and will be joined by Vice Chairman Robert Sawyer, Treasurer Peter Sassano and Secretary Ralph Tuttle.
The guest speaker for the evening was Auburn Mayor Richard Gleason.
