Hannah Read, a senior at Connecticut College, New London, Conn., was awarded the Gender and Women’s Studies Excellence Award. Read was presented with the award at the college’s annual honors and awards ceremony on April 28.

Read, a 2006 graduate of Edward Little High School, is the daughter of Camille Parrish and Kirk Read of Auburn.
