WINTHROP — Maine author Vicki Doudera will visit Charles M. Bailey Public Library on Tuesday, June 29, to discuss and read from her recently released mystery novel, “A House to Die For.”

The novel is the first in a new murder-mystery series featuring the savvy and smart Darby Farr, a real estate agent raised on a Maine island who ends up solving murders while making property deals.

Doudera, herself a real estate agent in Camden, is the author of two nonfiction books about Maine, “Moving to Maine” and “Where to Retire in Maine.”
