FARMINGTON — The Farmington Public Library has announced the summer reading program, “We Count! @ the Library.” The program will run from Thursday, June 17 to Thursday, Aug. 5. It is open to children of all ages and there will be prizes as incentives to keep reading.
All children are welcome participate in the summer reading program, but one must have a valid library card to borrow materials. Borrowing privileges are free to Farmington residents; Industry residents are reimbursed for nonresident fees at Industry Town Office; all others pay $25 each household annually.
The library also hosts preschool story hours at 10:15 a.m. Fridays and Baby Rhymes, for toddlers age 1 to 3, at 10:15 a.m. Wednesdays.
