LOWELL — On Friday, June 18, high-energy jugglers Matthew and Jason Tardy, who call themselves TWO, will give an encore performance at the Brick Church for the Performing Arts.
Besides juggling, their shows feature fire eating, physical comedy and full-body contortion. Their acts are choreographed to upbeat original music from their CD “Audio Body.”
The Tardy brothers, whose performing career started in 1994, apprenticed and toured with performing artist Michael Miclon of Oddfellow Theater in Buckfield. They also trained at Celebration Barn Theater in South Paris with master mime Tony Montanaro and world-renowned jugglers Michael Menes and Peter Davison. Later, the siblings performed with the juggling troupe blink.
The brothers continually tweak their “TWO: High Energy Juggling” show, adding new elements and choreography. Matthew composes almost all of the music.
TWO, which has fans across the United States and abroad, will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and younger. Tickets will be available at the door. Brick Church is on Christian Hill Road, just off Route 5. For more information, call 925-2792 or visit www.lovellbrickchurch.org.
