BETHEL — Roxanne Jewell and Brandan Roberts, together with their families, are pleased to announce their engagement.

Miss Jewell, daughter of Bruce and Judith Smith of Bethel, is a Telstar High School graduate of 2010. Her future plans consist of achieving an associate degree in mental health and human services at the University of Maine at Augusta.

Mr. Roberts, son of David and Judy Roberts of Bethel, is a Telstar High School graduate of 2007. He is currently attending the University of Maine at Augusta for a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts. He plans to extend his education by getting a master’s degree in education.

On April 19, the future bridegroom proposed on the shores next to the Portland Head Light at Cape Elizabeth; they are planning an outdoor wedding this September.
