DURHAM — No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $3,400 in a two-vehicle, rear-end collision on Route 9 Monday afternoon.
Deputy Jon Guay of the Androscoggin Sheriff’s Department identified the drivers as Evan Ancona, 21, and Robert Rubio, 77, both of Durham.
According to Guay, Ancona’s vehicle hit the rear of Rubio’s vehicle, which was stopped for construction equipment.
Damage was estimated $2,500 to Ancona’s 2001 Hyundai and at $900 to Rubio’s 1989 Chevrolet in the 1:50 p.m. crash.
