Charges:

On June 9 — 9:55 p.m., Brice Gammon, 29, of Andover was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley with operating under the influence on Route 2. Gammon was charged additionally with illegal possession of drug paraphernalia. Gammon posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 7.

On June 11 — 12:15 p.m., Timothy Ronan, 53, of Rumford was charged by Act. Cpl. K. Scott Mills on a warrant with violating a harassment order and violating conditions of release on Franklin Street. Ronan was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.

On June 11 — 8:25 p.m., Peter Beaulieu, 52, of Jay was charged by Ptl. Dennis Ryder with violating conditions of release on Hancock Street. Beaulieu, who was charged additionally with leaving the scene of a property damage crash, was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 3.

Theft:

On June 7 — 2:24 p.m., Sgt. Bernard received a report and is investigating the theft of numerous firearms valued at $500 plus $100 of ammunition from a Penobscot Street residence.

On June 8 — 12:30 p.m., Ptl. Winson investigated the theft of cigarettes and a lighter stolen from a vehicle on Hartford Street.

On June 14 — 5:59 a.m., Cpl. Maifeld received a report and is investigating the theft of a $100 bicycle from Washington Street.

On June 14 — 7:36 a.m., Cpl. Maifeld received a report and is investigating the theft of two lawn chairs valued at $30 each from outside of a Knox Street residence.
