PERU — The Stephens High School Class of 1948 will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 17, at Anna Shaw’s camp at Murray’s Cove at Worthley Pond.

Horseshoes

RUMFORD — The Rumford Mexico Horse Shoe Club, in its 40th year, meets on Mondays at the Hosmer Field Complex. Anyone that is interested in playing horseshoes is invited to join. Pitching starts at 6:30 p.m. and those interested in participating are encouraged to show up by 6 p.m.

Class luncheon

DIXFIELD — The Stephens High School Class of 1963 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 18, at the Front Porch Cafe. All are welcome. For more information, call Ann at 364-2333.

Strawberry festival

MEXICO — The Mexico Congregational Church (the Green Church) will hold its annual Strawberry Festival, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26. There will be quarts of strawberries for sale as well as an all-strawberry bake sale that will include strawberry whoopie pies.

A pancake breakfast with strawberries and whipped cream will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. and shortcakes will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
