LEWISTON — Union Saint Jean Baptiste Council Ste. Croix No. 413 honored three eighth-graders and three high school students who had been selected by their teachers for their outstanding work in French.

Each scholar received a French-English dictionary and a certificate of merit. The awards were made at each school during an assembly.

Secondary award winners were: Sophie Wallace, Edward Little High School; Rebecca-Marie Lessard, Lewiston High School; and Andre L’Heureux, St. Dominic Regional High School.

Middle school award winners were: Caleb Gray, Auburn Middle School; Matthew Poulin, Lewiston Middle School; and Alicia Ouellette, Trinity Catholic School.
