AUBURN — Agren Appliance and Television recently hired certified service technician Ken Dean. Dean repairs and services household appliances in the greater Portland area and is based at Agren’s flagship store at 40 Minot Ave., Auburn.

Dean has more than eight years’ experience as a service technician. Prior to joining Agren, he worked for Yale Appliance in Brockton, Mass., for four years. Prior to that, he served as an assistant service manager for Gerber Brothers in Stoughton, Mass.

Dean is a graduate of the Bay State School of Technology in Canton, Mass., and earned a computer systems specialist certification from Northeastern University in Boston. He currently lives in Norway with his wife, who is a nurse at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
