JAY — Announcement is made of the engagement of Johanna Zangari Mirenda and Jason Houle of Belefonte, Pa.

Miss Mirenda is the daughter of William Mirenda and Mary-Eve Zangari of Lewisburg, Pa. She is a 2003 graduate of North Cross School in Roanoke, Va., and a 2008 graduate of Penn State. She is employed at Pennsylvania Certified Organics.

Mr. Houle is the son of Becky Houle of Jay and Gary Houle of Sangerville. He is a 2001 graduate of Buckfield High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. He plans to graduate in 2011 from Penn State with a doctorate in sociology and demography.

The wedding will be held at 6 p.m. on Aug. 28 in Philadelphia, Pa.
