BOWDOIN — The search continues for Cappuccino, a yellow lab owned by Lisa Nazarenko who went missing May 3 from her Lewis Hill Road home near the Sabattus town line.

Nazarenko said Tuesday evening that a search party is being organized for Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. at 160 Lewis Hill Road. The invitation to help is open to walkers, bikers, ATV riders, motorcyclists and cars.

According to her website, www.findchino.com, Nazarenko reports that “Chino” was tracked by a professional dog tracking team from Maryland again June 11 and 12. That was the fourth time the professional trackers were in town to assist Nazarenko.

The 12-year-old dog was tracked traveling south along 201 in Bowdoin to Meadow Road in Topsham. The beloved pet was also tracked along Route 125 in Bowdoin near Lewis Hill Road.

It is believed that Cappuccino is in the woods along a stream in this area. Saturday’s search area will cover a wide circle that includes Route 201, Route 125, Lewis Hill Road and Route 197.

Nazarenko, a traveling cardiac nurse, has spent thousands looking for the dog she’s had since it was a puppy. She is offering her 2007 Buell motorcycle, valued at $13,000, as a reward for anyone who finds her dog. Additionally, Peter Ruby, owner of Sabattus Disc Golf, is offering a one-year membership to his course as part of the reward.
