LEWISTON — Robert and Janet McCarthy of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Brie Alyce McCarthy of Lisbon, to Steve John Bell of Lisbon, son of Richard and Monique Bell of Sabattus.

Miss McCarthy is a 2003 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed at Liberty Mutual.

Mr. Bell is a 1999 graduate of Lewiston High School and is employed at the Auburn Water District.

The wedding will be held at noon on Sept. 4 at the McLaughlin Gardens in South Paris.
