NORWAY — Western Maine Health Vice President of Clinical Service, M. Patricia Cook, RN, MBA, EdD, announces that four new registered nurses were hired at Stephens Memorial Hospital recently.

Three have joined the medical surgical department: Jess Komulainen of Bryant Pond who earned her associate’s degree in nursing from UMA; Linda Putnam of Andover; and Melanie Judd of Mechanic Falls. Putnam and Judd earned their associate’s degrees in nursing at CMMC School of Nursing. Both Komulainen and Judd had clinical rotations at SMH while in nursing school; Putnam served as a volunteer in the Family Birthplace.

The fourth nurse to join SMH is Jamie Rossignol of Hebron, who joined the emergency services department. Rossignol earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at USM. She also did clinical rotations on the medical/surgical department at SMH.
