SOUTH PORTLAND — Helen LeMieux, 95, of Scarborough, formerly of Lewiston, died June 26, at South Portland Nursing Home, where she spent the last two months of her life supported by caring staff.

She was born in Winslow, June 16, 1915, the youngest child of Joseph and Elizabeth Siviski Lapin and graduated from Winslow High School in 1935.

Arthur and she raised two children, Arthur (Terry), who resides in Newfoundland with his wife, Lena, and Linda Cannell, who resides in Scarborough with her husband, Albert; she has five grandchildren, Stephanie, Kelly, Terry, Michael and Sheryl; and two great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Nora.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Julius and Thomas; and her husband of 54 years, Arthur Omer LeMieux of North Vassalboro.
