Central Maine Federal Credit Union has awarded its Books for Kids Program grant to Minot Consolidated School. The grant is awarded to programs that best encourage reading and literacy in children. The Minot Consolidated School was selected for “YOU Could Be the Next Contestant in the Summer Reading Game!” 2010 summer reading program, which will incorporate the reading of books with game shows and playing games. The grant will enable the school library to purchase selected books and to provide prizes for the participants. Regina Moulton, left, school librarian, accepted the grant check from Vicki Stuart, president/CEO of Central Maine Credit Union.
