KINGFIELD — The Stadler Gallery will continue its summer exhibitions with works by Elizabeth Kelley of Arundel and Jan ter Weele of Falmouth.

Kelley, a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art, seeks out the balance of material and immaterial influences, of control and uncertainty, in her surroundings and works displayed in her “Interpretations in Paint” exhibit.

Ter Weele, who was born in Holland and came to the United States after fleeing the Nazi occupation in 1940, will show his new landscape paintings. He studied at the Art Student League of New York and the Massachusetts and Maine colleges of art. He has painted in Europe, Hawaii and extensively in Maine. He said he likes color as well as flattening space and integrating shapes.

A reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the gallery at 225 Main St. The exhibitions will be on view from July 17 through Aug. 6 daily from noon to 4 p.m., or by appointment. For more information, visit www.stadlergallery.com.
