AUBURN — Robert F. Washburn 77, a resident of the Garfield Road, Auburn, passed away Thursday, July 1 at the Clover Manor Health Care Facility following a short illness.

He was born in Minot, Feb. 1, 1933, the son of Charles and Hattie (Dow) Washburn.

Robert loved and was very proud of his entire family.

Survivors include three sons, Greg Washburn and his wife, Lucie, of Lewiston, David Washburn and his wife, Michelle, of Auburn, and Stephen Washburn and his wife, Angella, of New Gloucester; one daughter, Rhonda Washburn of Auburn; and six grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Iona Moody, in 2009.
