Wilton Academy reunion

JAY — All Wilton Academy attendees, their spouses and guests are invited to a reunion, to be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Lafleur’s Restaurant. There will be four choices of special menu items.

Summer outing

NEW VINEYARD — The Franklin County Farm Bureau summer outing will be held at 261 Miller Road, hosted by Frank Forster and Lynne Ricardo of New Vineyard. It will be held Sunday, July 11, rain or shine, beginning at 11 a.m. Grilled beef, hot dogs and chicken will be provided. Attendees are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share.

An update on the Ag Curriculum project at the high school will be given and the results of the photography and pie contest and auction held at the Maine Antique Tractor Show will be shared. Badminton and horseshoes will be available for those wishing to test their skills. Door prizes will be awarded as well. For more information, contact Frank or Lynne at 652-2920.

Garden club

FARMINGTON — Emery Goff of 158 Middle St. will host the Mt. Blue Area Garden Club at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 20. Members and guests will tour her gardens before the regular meeting.

Attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair, a bag lunch and a plant to swap with other members. Desserts will be provided by hostesses Nancy Lewis, Barb Bennett and Regina Longyear. Guests and prospective members are welcome to participate. For more information, call 645-2067.
