Open house
OTISFIELD — The Bell Hill Meetinghouse on Bell Hill Road will be open for public inspection from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 14. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Birdie Googins
WATERFORD — Birdie Googins will make an appearance at the Waterford World’s Fair at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17, in the dance hall at the fairgrounds, located just off Route 35 on Green Road, North Waterford.
Seating will be limited so attendees are encouraged to arrive early. A meet and greet with autographs with Googins will follow. For more information, call Lucille at 514-0333.
Indoor yard sale
SOUTH PARIS — An indoor yard sale will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Trinity Church, Route 117. The building is handicapped accessible. There will be clothing, books, puzzles, household items and collectibles.

Bean supper
NORWAY — A public baked bean supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at the Norway Masonic Lodge Hall, 9 Temple St. Cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
There will be a variety of beans, hot dogs, bread, coleslaw, homemade pies and drinks. The dining area is air-conditioned and takeout will be available. For more information, e-mail [email protected] or call 739-9672.
Public skating
BRIDGTON — Bridgton Academy will offer public skating from noon to 2 p.m. Sundays, through Aug. 15. Cost is $4 for adults, $3 for students (grades one to 12), $2 for children under age 6 and $2 for seniors 62 or older. Rentals are available for $4.

Bridge play
OXFORD — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met July 9 at the Oxford Community Rec Center and had eight full tables of bridge. Winners in division A for North-South teams were: first, Martha Young and Bailey Geeslin; second, Nancy Farmer and Marta Clements; third, Claire Lyons and Cynthia Clifford.
First in B, North-South, were Carol Curran and Suzanne Andrews. Winners in division A for East-West were: first, Jim Dickens and Pat Quinn; second, Lucille Theriault and Rosemarie Goodwin; third, Dick Allen and Richard Balian.
First in B, East-West were: Cindy and Bob Kirccherr; second, Hazel Glazier and Jim Kranin.
Games are played Fridays at 9:15 a.m. All newcomers and summer residents are welcome.
