The River Valley Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the area towns, has put together an Adopt-A-Spot program in which a business or individual can adopt a spot to beautify/spruce-up and maintain that spot for the spring/ summer season. What a great advertising avenue and a way to make a piece of your community look more attractive to others visiting our area. Once you have your spot maintained, you can obtain a sign for $50 to be erected at your Adopt-A-Spot location with your name on it recognizing you or your business as contributing to making the area more attractive for all to enjoy. This sign will be a one-time fee for as long as you maintain your spot. You will be responsible for erecting the sign and taking the sign down in the fall and bringing it back to the Chamber office to store for the following year. You will also be responsible for any damage to the sign. If you choose not to Adopt A Spot the following year, the sign will be refurbished for another business to utilize.
