On Page 61 in the Maine Motorist Driver Manual are the rules of the road for bicyclists. It states they need to follow the rules of the road that are set for cars.

I’m a bicyclist who follows those rules, but every day I see many who don’t, and never see or hear of the rules being enforced. My biggest complaint concerns bicycles with no lights being ridden all over the streets in the dark. I see this every night when I come home from work.

I “thank” those riders for giving bicycling a bad name.
